Booked is the product of Theresa Parker’s love of stationery and working with wood. Theresa started booked while she was working as an art director in advertising. She started selling her books at Ten Women, a wonderful artist coop with a store in Santa Monica, California. There the books developed a loyal following and soon other stores wanted to sell them too. So Theresa would make ads during the day and make books at night.
It wasn’t long before she had to decide between her “real job” and the books. Not a hard decision, especially after her husband asked, “How do you feel about living in Florida?”, which then led to New York City, and finally (we think), the New Jersey shore, where Theresa now works on books in between visits to the beach with her husband, daughter and dog.
